BIRTH OR DEATH CERTIFICATES Computer downlink allows New Madrid County Health Department access to VITAL RECORDS at Missouri Department of Health in Jefferson City, Missouri. Certified copies of Birth Certificates can be printed at our office while you wait. Certificates are available for any birth occurring in the State of Missouri after 1930. Certified copies of Death Certificates can be printed for any person whose date of death is after 1980. There is a $15 charge per each certified copy of birth certificates. Death certificates are $13 for the first and $10 each thereafter. The Health Department can only accept cash or money orders.
